Special supplier authorizations #
Based on your needs, your relationships and working model with your service suppliers, you can give them some privileges to do some work or adjustments on behalf of you. Here, the most important point is, you should give these privileges to only trusted business partners
Accessing supplier authorizations page #
By clicking on the Settings button from the left navigation pane, you can access the settings page. In the sub-menu of the settings page, you can find the Supplier Authorization menu.
Options for suppliers authorization #
The suppliers authorization page consists of two main sections.
In the upper section, you can see authorizations which can be given to more than one supplier.
In the lower section you can see authorizations which can be assigned to only one supplier
In order to edit these options, you need to click on the Edit button located in the top commands bar. In order to activate your selections, you need to click on the Save and Exit button.
Meanings of authorizations #
Can Manage Contracts #
If you select YES on this option, the selected supplier can add maintenance contracts between you and theirselves.
Can Create Work Orders #
If you select YES on this option, the selected supplier can create new work order forms. In order to manage the work orders created by supplier companies, you can still use approval procedure adjustments. From approval procedures, you can select if you want to approve supplier work orders or not.
Can Manage Approval Procedures #
If you select YES on this option, the selected supplier can manage approval procedures between you and theirselves.
The supplier who can manage my facilities and its inventories #
With this option you can select one of your suppliers to manage your facilities and inventories. If you have a trusted supplier and you want him to create and manage your facilities, you can give this privilege to them. Please note that you can close this option as soon as they complete the work. We suggest you provide such authorizations for a limited time and cancel it after work is done.
The supplier authorized to manage my general parameters #
With this option you can select one of your suppliers to manage your general parameters like; brands/groups, zones and maintenance types. Please note that you can close this option as soon as they complete the work. We suggest you provide such authorizations for a limited time and cancel it after work is done.
